All books are divisible into two classes: the books of the hour, and the books of all Time.

Welcome to The Copperfield Review, a journal for readers and writers of historical fiction. We believe that by understanding the past through historical fiction we can gain better insights into the nature of our world today, as well as a better understanding of ourselves.

The Copperfield Review is seeking non-fiction articles and creative non-fiction as well as essays about the writing life, particularly writing historical fiction. We are also accepting reviews of historical novels. See our Submission Guidelines for further information.
Beginning in April 2008 Blues Valley Review will be accepting general fiction submissions as well as reviews of novels and non-fiction books. Submissions to Blues Valley Review do not have to be historical in nature. Blues Valley Review still accepts submissions of reviews of CDs, concerts, and music-related books and DVDs. Please check the submission guidelines for further information.
